Simply Draw Scam!

Hello Lee family members! I have major news to report to you. Have you ever seen the ads for Simply Draw the app? While it may seem like a good app to learn how to draw, it only gives you one lesson on how to draw a fish before making you pay a subscription to access the rest of the drawing lessons. Do NOT download it unless you're willing to pay money for it. Jack and I learned that the hard way.

If you're looking for a way to make your drawings good, watch a video of Art for Kids Hub. You can google it or look on YouTube to draw pretty much anything you want following simple, easy instructions.

Super Sports

As the spring comes nearer and nearer, sports teams have been kicking off the season. Here are some sports updates for the family.

Rush pitched the last inning without giving up a run to secure his team's first win of the season, a 3–2 win. He also scored the first run of the season. He also played in Arizona in a spring training tournament.

Ford started the spring season on the mound and at the plate. He started their first game as pitcher, giving up no runs in two innings and earned the win. He also had four hits, two of which were doubles in the season opening tournament. They also opened the select league season at Kaiser.

Girls flag football starts this Friday too! The winter league just ended and spring starts this week.

Jack also won second place in the winter Flag Football Championships for his team, the Chicago Bears.

And don't forget, Beauty and the Beast is showing at Newport Harbor High School on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Mackenzie's Monthly Gummy Review

Guess who's back with the newest gummy review! While an unusual choice for candy, this brand is well-known and has produced so many good snacks. Annie's gummies can be found in many supermarkets. Today I will be reviewing Annie's Bees, Bugs and Butterflies pack.

These gummies are individually packaged in small bags, and come in the fruity flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and apple. I love their texture, they are easy to bite and chew but aren't too soft. Because they are fruity they are definitely on the sweeter side, but aren't too sweet.

While I wouldn't exactly call these a treat, they definitely make a great quick snack for everyone! See you next month!
