Mansions Make Family
A hard-working, dedicated, driven person never gives up. Even when the odds are against them. These traits all describe the (grand-) children of the Scarborough, Gazin, and Lewis family. Careful planning got them to Palm Desert last winter, and it will get them there again.
Young debater Molly Gazin put up quite the fight in order to travel again. "It just happened so fast," she said. "My mom said she was on board, Katie said she was, and then they looked at Trisha." So mark your calendars for January 16th, because the Lee Family is headed to paradise!
A Splashing Touchdown
After a long, uneventful summer and a three-month hiatus the Hoang family is back to sports full-time. Quinn has Beetlejuice Jr. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, preparing for rehearsing the show on November 6th. Tickets are selling out fast, so go online and buy some before you miss out! She's also been drafted for the Chicago Bears in the FIF. After a devastating loss, her team plans to come back with their flag-pulling tactics and astounding interceptions. Center Hailey Peters is excited to "have fun crushing the other team's dreams." Receiver Quinn Hoang is going to "tackle everyone in her way and make sure it hurts!"
Meanwhile, after a trial break from swimming, first place medalist Mackenzie Hoang is excited to get back in the swing of things. She tried several sports including rowing and weight-lifting before deciding the pool was her true calling. Not so quickly, however, so that she didn't miss the opportunity to let her former coach put her on the microphone at the latest swim meet. "I really enjoyed singing 'Mystical, Magical'!" she recalls. She is looking forward to "swimming in tears" with Coach John.
